Spot assignment
Where: day Map (computer and phone), Today → To do, Today’s tickets. Who: cashiers, managers and owners.
When there is a queue at the desk it pays to sell only the zone (“Front row”) and pick the umbrella later. The sale takes a place of the zone at once, so you never sell more tickets than places; the ticket stays To assign until you put it on a spot.
Assigning with a tap
Section titled “Assigning with a tap”- Open the day Map: the To assign panel lists the tickets in number order (#037 …).
- Tap a ticket: the free spots of its zone are highlighted.
- Tap a free spot of the zone. Arenile confirms Ticket #037 assigned to spot A4.
If another register took that spot in the meantime, Arenile says so (The spot was just taken: choose another one) and the ticket stays to assign: the database checks it, not the browser.
Automatic assignment
Section titled “Automatic assignment”Assign automatically places the tickets to assign, in number order, on the free spots of their zone with the same rule as the automatic assignment of zone bookings (see Zones). Tickets that find no place stay in the panel (2 tickets assigned, 1 without a free spot).
Today and Today’s tickets
Section titled “Today and Today’s tickets”- Today → To do → To assign also lists the zone tickets, with the number and Assign on the map.
- In Today’s tickets the Assign button opens the spot choice; for an assigned ticket Move puts it on another free spot (also later in the day).
Map labels
Section titled “Map labels”Spots taken by a ticket show the last name given at the sale or, without a name, the ticket number (#037). The Labels switch (Code / Customer / Both) applies to tickets too, as to other bookings (see Day map).
