Guided setup

Where: Configuration → Guided setup. Who: owners and managers.

The guided setup takes a new establishment from empty to ready to sell. It opens by itself after an establishment is created and can be reopened at any time. A bar at the top shows the progress (“N of 6 steps completed or skipped”); on the left the list of steps with their state to do, completed or skipped.

The six steps

1. Details and languages. Check name, languages and contacts: they appear on the public page and in emails to customers. The same fields are in Establishment.

2. Template. Pick the template closest to your establishment and press Use this template. Each card shows the layout, zones, packs and periods that will be created.

   Classic lido with rows

   Umbrellas in numbered rows, priced by row and period. Zones Front row, Second row, Back rows and Gazebos; packs Basic (1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds), Comfort (1 umbrella, 1 sunbed, 1 deckchair) and Gazebo (subject to approval); extras extra sunbed, changing cabin, beach towel, parking; policies for online, desk and gazebos. The most common case.

   Equipped beach by quantity

   No map: customers choose how many umbrellas and sunbeds, availability is a counter (pools of 80 umbrellas and 200 sunbeds, editable).

   Lido with pool

   Rows on the beach plus a pool area with sunbeds, in zone mode with automatic assignment.

   Empty

   Nothing prefilled: you configure everything by hand from the menu items.

3. Map rows. Set Rows and Spots per row (the total updates as you type) and the dates of the First season (Year, Opening, Closing). Create season and map generates everything in one operation and shows the summary: spots, zones, packs, periods. If the establishment already has a season or a map, the step tells you and you can continue or go to the editor.

4. Quick price list. A Category × period grid with daily prices including VAT (for example 25.00). Leave the cells you do not need empty and press Generate price rules: the base rules are created (replacing those generated before). Half days and long formulas are configured later in Prices.

5. Public page. Turn on online bookings, choose the colours and copy the code to paste into your website. Everything is fine-tuned in Public page and widget.

6. Payments. At the desk (cash, card terminal, bank transfer) is ready straight away, with nothing to set up. To take payment for online bookings, Set up online payments opens the page where you connect your Stripe account: you can also do it later, see Online payments with Stripe.

Skip this step moves on without saving; Back returns to the previous step. Finish setup shows the summary, the skipped steps and the shortcuts Edit the map, Review prices, Establishment settings and Reopen the guided setup.

Goal: under 15 minutes

With the “Classic lido with rows” template, 8 rows of 15 spots and the quick price list, a complete establishment is configured in under a quarter of an hour. Then fine-tune at leisure.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run the guided setup again on an establishment already configured? Yes, but the steps that create data (template, map rows) recognise that a season or a map already exists and do not duplicate them. The quick price list instead replaces the rules it generated before.

Where do the categories of the quick price list come from? From the price categories of the zones (and any overrides on single spots). If none exist, the step tells you: create zones with a category in Zones.
