First start and guided setup
Arenile is installed and the first user exists. Now open the panel and take the establishment from “empty” to “ready to sell”. The design goal is clear: a lido with 8 rows of 15 spots is configured in under 15 minutes starting from a template.
1. Sign in to the panel
Section titled “1. Sign in to the panel”Open https://<your-domain>/admin/ and enter email and password.
- If two-step verification is enabled for your user, after the password you are asked for the 6-digit Verification code from your authenticator app.
- After too many wrong attempts sign-in is blocked for a few minutes: it protects against password guessing.
2. The first establishment
Section titled “2. The first establishment”The user created at installation belongs to an organization (the value of --org or
ARENILE_BOOTSTRAP_OWNER_ORG). From the Establishment switcher at the top of the sidebar choose
+ New establishment to create one: the guided setup opens right after creation.
3. The guided setup
Section titled “3. The guided setup”It is also in the menu under Configuration → Guided setup, reserved to owners and managers. There are six steps: each one can be skipped and everything can be changed later from the Configuration menu items.
-
Details and languages. Name, public address (the last part of the URL
/b/<address>), contacts, time zone, default language and enabled languages. They appear on the public page and in emails to customers. -
Template. Pick the template closest to your establishment. It creates season, zones, catalogue and rate periods that you can change:
Template What it creates Classic lido with rows Umbrellas in numbered rows priced by row and period (front and second row priced separately), a row of gazebos subject to approval, cabins and parking. The most common case. Equipped beach by quantity No map: customers choose how many umbrellas and sunbeds, availability is a counter. Lido with pool Rows on the beach plus a pool area with sunbeds. Empty Nothing prefilled: you configure everything by hand. -
Map rows. Set the number of Rows and Spots per row and the opening and closing dates of the First season, then press Create season and map. The spots are created on the map with automatic numbering (row A closest to the sea). Templates without a map create zones and quantity equipment instead.
-
Quick price list. A table with the daily price per category (row) and period of the season (low, mid, high, peak). Amounts include VAT; leave the cells you do not need empty. Generate price rules creates the base rules automatically. Half days and long formulas are fine-tuned later in Prices.
-
Public page. Turn on online bookings, choose the colours and copy the code to paste into your website. Details in Public page and widget.
-
Payments. At the desk (cash, card terminal, bank transfer) is ready straight away. For online payment of bookings, Set up online payments opens the Stripe page, now or later: see Online payments with Stripe.
At the end press Finish setup: the summary lists the skipped steps and offers the shortcuts Edit the map, Review prices and Establishment settings. You can always use Reopen the guided setup.
4. Check before opening to the public
