Demo data

The arenile seed demo command creates the Lido Demo: a complete, realistic establishment to explore every feature, train staff or try a configuration before applying it to your beach. The screenshots and interactive examples in this documentation are generated from exactly this data.

Caution

Load the demo data on a trial instance, not in production: it creates fictitious customers, bookings and payments that would end up in your daily takings.

How to load it

The command prints the address of the public page (/b/lido-demo) and of the panel, and creates the user demo@lido-demo.example (Gestore Demo, owner). The password is the one in ARENILE_ADMIN_PASSWORD if set, otherwise it is generated and shown only once.

The command is idempotent: running it again duplicates nothing.

Starting over

With SQLite the quickest way is to delete the trial instance’s data volume and run the command again:
