Pools

Where: Configuration → Pools. Who: owners and managers.

A pool is a quantity inventory with no position on the map: “Free sunbeds: 200”, “Cabins: 10”, “Parking: 30”. Each booking that uses that component reduces the availability of the day and slot; when it reaches zero, nothing more is sold. As with spots, the guarantee comes from the database: even with desk and online at the same time the pool never exceeds its capacity.

Creating a pool

Press New pool.
Choose the Component the pool counts (for example sunbed, cabin, parking).
Optional: the Quantity zone it belongs to.
Enter the Capacity.
Optional: Capacity by period (Add change) for a different capacity on some dates, for example extra sunbeds in August.

Then, in the Catalogue, mark the component as Stock tracked and link it to the pool: from then on every pack or extra containing it uses the pool.

System-managed pools

Zones in Zone mode have an implicit pool, equal to the active spots, which the system creates and updates by itself. In the list it appears as Managed by the system: it is edited from the zone, not here.
